It was created near a tributary of the Little Miami River. There are 1118.5 acres of land and 197 acres of water. The community boasts three lakes, over 650 houses and 1,172 residents. Transportation
State Route 50 is the main route to Lake Lorelei from I-275. The Circle Freeway (I-275) provides access to all of Hamilton County within 30 minutes, and access to I-71 to Columbus and I-75 to Dayton. Nearby State Route 68 connects to Fayetteville and Blanchester. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is 50 minutes from Lake Lorelei. The regional Clermont County airport is in Batavia.
Hospitals
Mercy Health Clermont Hospital in Batavia is a part of the Mercy Health System. The hospital is an acute care facility with an emergency room, as well as complete intensive care unit and outpatient services. The Christ Hospital Outpatient Center is in Miami Township. Mercy Health Anderson Hospital is 40 minutes from Lake Lorelei. Cincinnati’s major hospitals including Children’s Hospital Medical Center, TriHealth Bethesda North, TriHealth Good Samaritan, The Christ Hospital and University Hospital area within 45–50 minutes.
Shopping
Lake Lorelei Fisherman’s Wharf is a community convenience store with ice, gas, snacks, drinks, beer and wine. Fish bait is also available. Head into Fayetteville, Blanchester or Milford for local shopping and restaurants.
Nearby Jungle Jim’s International Market in Eastgate is a popular destination with its assortment of foods and drink from worldwide sources. Walmart and a variety of other specialty businesses are also located in the area. Milford, Hillsboro and Mt. Orab are all within 20 minutes of the lake. Each of these towns offer shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
Recreation
Lake Lorelei residents enjoy many outdoor activities with its three lakes: Lake Lorelei, Lake Grunwald and Lake Fichtelberg. Boating is popular and the community offers 10 common access areas for members along with cabanas along the 750 square feet of its sandy beaches. Residents also enjoy fishing, water skiing and tubing. West Beach is near the clubhouse and has a playground, basketball court and a putt-putt course. At the entrance of the lake is a frisbee golf course. A large pavilion is used for parties and gatherings. The club house has plans for future renovation. It is normally used for club meetings, parties and gatherings. Marina Store has all necessary basic supplies, refreshments, and sells bait.
